This romantic style, sensory garden has been designed and built by the Morgan Oates team for a young professional lady, who works in the city center and wanted to have a nice, enclosed space to escape to. A space to bring her closer to nature.
The idea for a sensory garden was inspired by smells from fragrant plants that attract bees and butterflies, sounds of birds singing and bathing in the water, which come together to make us feel relaxed and allow us to rest well before returning to our busy city lives.
The small space was used to maximum advantage. A plant called "Mind your own business" was taking over the existing lawn. The idea is to let it take over and create soft cushion like, ground cover. Then to dress it with lots of shade loving plants, mostly perennials, with some feature evergreen shrubs.
